My mother’s notebooks

My mother has always kept notebooks – we both do, so it must be genetic. Most recently her notebook keeping has been focused on family history and memoir. Here are some examples of her works in progress. The idea of keeping visual and written recollections is very appealing – and so many images can be found on the internet these days as well as the ability to create high definition scans from photos. It’s a great way to start ordering life stories or family history for family, if not for future publication.
